Why does Episode Salon require a credit card to hold  your appointment?

Our clients' time is extremely important to us. When you book an appointment, a certain amount of time is reserved for you and the services you booked. We send out confirmation emails, texts or reminder calls (depending on your preference) to help remind you for your appointment, so please be sure all the contact info we have for you is correct. If an appointment is no-showed, cancelled last minute or rescheduled less then 24 hours.   We are not able to fill that time slot with another client that would have wanted that appointment time. We ask that you honor the time we’ve set aside for you by giving us at least 24 hours notice if you are not going to make your appointment or to reschedule for another day and time within 24 hours of your actual appointment time.   If less than 24 hours is given, we will charge your card on file 50% of service price.

Your credit card number is used only to reserve the appointment. You are not pre-paying for your service when you provide us with your credit card information. We will only charge your card 50% of service fee if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment time, or if you have no call,  no email or no text to let us know if you have to cancel or rescheduled.
